Are all your products vegan?

Absolutely.  No animal products, animal derived products, animal tested products; and that includes the raw materials too.

Do you use palm oil in your products?

Absolutely not.  There are some ingredients in our skincare that may sometimes be ambiguous (like glycerine and coconut oil) but we ensure we buy palm free varieties.

Your packaging is a little fancy.  Is it recyclable?

Nowhere does it say you have to be boring to be planet-friendly!  The majority of our packaging is PET with a small amount being made from glass.  Recyclable.

Where do you source your products from?

All our raw materials are sourced from Australian suppliers.  We do this at a higher expense than what it would be to haul them over from China, but we are committed to an ethical practice and buying local whenever possible.

I have really sensitive skin/a skin condition.  Will Sniffy Scents be safe for me?

We are very savvy about sensitive skin and conditions like eczema, dermatitis and the like.  We formulate our products from organic raw ingredients where possible and use products that will assist with dryness and inflammation to combat the symptoms of these flare ups.  As usual, it’s safe to perform a skin test but we’ve had terrific success with our clients with skin disorders.

How do you scent your products?

Our scents are a very special part of what makes us unique!  We find that using pure essential oils alone can be overly reactive for people with sensitive skin, so we choose to use a blend of natural and plant derived oils to come up with our proprietary fusions.

What does Sniffy Scents do for the community?

As much as we can.  We often give prize packs, free advertising and our time to local markets, community groups, charities and local businesses. We donate heavily to an organisation that supports survivors of sexual assault.  We believe strongly in giving back.

How do I use a wax melt?

Wax melts are an amazing way to fill your home with scent. Place one in an oil/wax burner and watch it melt to release a powerful aroma. Sniffy Scent soy wax melts last for days! Hot tip: pop them in some tissue paper and leave one in your car, handbag, clothing drawer or handbag to enjoy your favourite scents everywhere.

How strong are your wax melts?

I have been a lifelong candle and scent lover and got tired of lifting things up to my nose to smell them. I wanted to walk into a house and smell whatever delectable scent was wafting out of the burner at the other end of the home. This is what Sniffy Scents has finally been able to achieve.  The scent in the wax lasts for days and days and days.
